This Scholarship is presented annually and is open to Victoria Hospital support staff
from all departments and services.
APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THIS YEAR: October 18, 2025
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- The award is open to all support staff employed at Victoria Hospital for a minimum of three
(3) years in permanent part-time or full-time positions, and who have satisfactory
employment records. - Managers, physicians, and clinical staff with a professional designation are not eligible to apply.
- Awards are to assist applicants who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a healthcare-related
program or course to pursue or upgrade qualifications in the healthcare field. - Previous recipients of the Bea Dunstone Scholarship cannot reapply.
- The Bea Dunstone Scholarship will only contribute towards tuition costs.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Application for the scholarship must be submitted prior to the commencement of the course or program, not retroactively.
- Note that a letter of recommendation from your manager supporting your application and commenting upon your work must be included with your application in the form of an uploaded file.
- Note that as part of the application process you must also include a copy of official documentation from the educational institution confirming you are enrolled and have submitted payment. This should also be uploaded as part of your application.
