We Need Volunteers for our Board!
We’ve got an amazing group of volunteers on our Board and Board Committees right now, but we could use a few more! Here are the available positions for our 2026-27 year (starting April 1st, 2026):
Vice-President:
– Supports the President, oversees the Scholarship program, and oversees award pins.
Fundraising Director:
– Leads the fundraising team; with lots of help, plans and executes several fundraisers during the year.
Member at Large:
– Attends and participates in monthly meetings, pitches in on various projects according to time and interests.
Fundraising Team Member:
– Help with fundraising projects. Sample activities: selling books at the used booksale, selling raffle tickets in the lobby, helping secure prizes, conducting data analysis and record keeping on sales, etc.
Social Media Team Member:
– Helps put our best foot forward on the internet! Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, scheduling software, Canva, and marketing theory would be helpful.
Nominations Team Member:
– Looking for a short-term gig? You can sit on the nominations team this spring and help ensure we have a healthy board for the new year. Just a couple of meetings!
